Background:
As the first independent German producer award, the Carl Laemmle Producer Award annually honors the life's work of an outstanding producer personality and at the same time generally highlights the special achievements of producers in the creative and economic process of filmmaking. The award is endowed with 40,000 euros. The Carl Laemmle Producer Award was launched in 2017 on the occasion of the 150th birthday of the film pioneer and inventor of Hollywood Carl Laemmle by the Producers Alliance together with Carl Laemmle's birthplace Laupheim. With the start of the first CLP Awards, Papilio Entertainment is part of the event as a directing team.
